Being included

What our members say

We want everyone who comes to the service to feel welcomed and included. We do this by making sure that you will know about the people at our Centre and you will know about the things we do.

Apart from the regular sessions we do other interesting things such as:

• Day trips out
• Display our work
• Put together facts about our activities
• Put on performances for entertainment
• Celebrate World Mental Health Day
• Arrange a variety of cultural events
• Receive visits from dignitaries
• Become involved in saving Leicester’s heritage
• Publish our work
• Work with other local interest groups
• Explore our senses in our Sensory Room

We believe it is important that we listen to each other so we can make friends and so that we can get on with everybody, we like to be polite.

We are a mixed service who welcome people from all Nationalities.

We are interested in and respect the diversity in our community.
