Apart from the daily activities there are some other activities running at Wesley Hall Community Centre for the welfare of the local Community.Some of the activities running at present are listed below
Councillors’ Surgeries
These are face-to-face meetings held by councillors for local people to raise issues in their area. They can take the form of walk-abouts in the area or sit-down meetings.Councillors may take up residents’ issues with Council officers, the local Neighbourhood Board or with a specific committee.information
They speak up for users of council services, and make decisions at council meetings on major issues affecting the residents of Leicester, such as setting council tax, and making judgements on planning applications.
Citizens Advice Sessions
Citizens Advice Leicestershire offers practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics including debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration and consumer. The advice is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.
